The script for episode VII of the Star Wars saga, the one that will immediately be pleased with the “return of the Jedi”, has been finalized and the producers are now preparing for the shooting which, as announced, could take place in Morocco, but also in Tunisia where the vestiges of the old sets representing the Tatooine planet are still present in the South.
The script for the film would refer to the planet Tatooine, 30 years after the last opus, showing the remains of a missing civilization, that where the hero of the saga, Anakin Skywalker, future Dark Vador has grown.
Producers therefore do not intend to abandon their idea of shooting in the southern Tunisian where the village of Mos Espa is being renovated. But given from this angle, they are rather ruins that director JJ Abrams needs.
At the last turnaround, the producers would have expressed their wish to have scenes taken in the South Tunisian, where the saga started. A wish that indicates the symbolism that this seventh episode of the saga wants to keep.
In the meantime, the shooting will start on May 14 in Morocco before a probable hook to Tunisia to film scenes showing a deserted and dilapidated tatooine planet where an ancient civilization existed.
Reviewing Tatooine Tunisian version is the version put forward by some who announce that part of the shooting of the seventh episode, whose release is scheduled for December 18, 2015, will take place in Tunisia, Moroccan landscapes only serving, for their part, to show a new planet.
