The first day of the Tunisian Ligue 1 championship offered a start to the season rich in intensity and surprises.

The Monastirian US shared the points with the Tunisian stadium (1-1), Edem Arous opening the scoring before the equalization of Mez Haj Ali. US Ben Guerdane dominated Olympique de Béja 2-0 thanks to Idris Mhirssi and Iyed Haj Khelifa, who marked in the first period.

The hope of Zarzis created the sensation in Sfax by beating the Sfaxian sports club 2-1. Moomen Rahmani scored a double, briefly interrupted by the equalization of Travis Mutyaba. At the Chedly Zouiten stadium, the JS Omrane surprised the Sahel star (3-1) with three goals before and after the break. Moussa Senghor reduced the gap on a penalty spot, without preventing the defeat of his team.
