The Appeal Commission of the African Football Confederation rejected the Appeal of Hope ST, as to the sanctions imposed on it by the CAF disciplinary committee on the sidelines of the incidents that punctuated the match of April 29 against JS Kabylie in Rades.

Hope was heavily sanctioned on May 5 by CAF and received four closed -door matches, two of which were suspended and a fine of 300 thousand dollars following incidents during the quarter -final return of the Champions League in Rades.

CAF has also threatened to exclude from any African competition for a year in the event of a recurrence of these overruns for the next 12 months and automatically apply the two closed -door matches suspended, not to mention other sanctions.

The second half of the quarter-final return from the African football champions league which ended, last Saturday in Rades, with a 1-1 draw between Espérance and JS Kabylie, started 40 minutes late due to acts of vandalism.

The East who had won the first leg (1-0), assured his qualification in the semi-finals at the Champions League at the end of this meeting. He will face Al Ahly from Egypt in the first leg tomorrow in Rades and on May 19 in Cairo.
