The youth & science association of Tunisia and the youth & science club of Medjez El Bab, organize, this Saturday, August 30, from 8:00 pm, the “Night of Stars”, an international celebration of astronomy which aims to popularize the culture of astronomy.
Organized, every year, all over the world, this Tunisian summer evening will be led by young amateurs of astronomy with free access to observation sites during the evening.
This astronomical event will include two components, according to the organizers.
A part dealing with the fundamental principles of astronomy (through presentations) and a practical part consisting in offering the public present to attend observations.
The event will be held at Habib Bourguiba primary school, avenue Habib Bourguiba in Medjez El Bab with workshops, children’s activities, observations, conferences led by specialists in astronomy and astrophysics and finally the launch of water rockets.
