The fourth edition of the Douz Doc Days, or Documentary Days of Douz (JDD), will take place from October 11 to 18.
The event is organized by the documentary caravans, which are a “citizen project” for projection of films in the regions, developed since April 2011 by the 5/5 productions company, specializing in the production of documentaries.
On the program:
a national independent documentary competition;
the projection of films “against forgetfulness” on the memory of torture;
A special “clay ramparts” evening by Jean-Louis Bertucelli;
production workshops and a master class “film the peasant world”;
An exhibition of the photographs of Douraid Souissi and Augustin Le Gall.
Note the projection in official competition on October 16 of “Fellahin”, the new documentary by Habib Ayeb, co -breaded with Ray Bush. Habib Hayeb’s previous documentary, Gabes Labess, will be projected out of competition on October 17.
The Douz Doc Days, and more broadly the documentary caravans, are aimed at “decentralization, regional development, promotion of cultural tourism”.
