Sami Lajmi’s “Ziara” show will take place on Wednesday January 21 at the municipal theater of Tunis from 7:30 p.m.
This Tunisian show is the fruit of a meticulous musical research on the Sufi songs of two brotherhoods, namely the Aîssaouia and El Aouemreya. In this work, Sami Lajmi does not intend to restore them in their original forms, but proposes to renew their reading, to adapt and to recompose their notes and to carry them in contemporary language as well as the reproduction of the atmosphere of a religious ceremony on stage.
“Ziara” was presented several times in Tunisia and abroad. The price of the ticket is 20DT.
