An explosion broke out in the Peshawar mosque, in northwest Pakistan this Monday, January 30, 2023, killing at least 56 people.
The hospital spokesperson indicates that at least 56 people were killed. “We receive new corpses and injured,” he told AFP.
What explains this heavy record is that the explosion has collapsed the roof of the mosque according to local media.
“We are trying to obtain more information, but the explosion took place at prayer time,” confirmed Muhammad Ijaz Khan, Peshawar police chief.
