A deposit warrant was issued on Friday June 2, 2023, against a supporter who had been arrested after the events occurred Wednesday at the Boujemaâ Kemiti de Béja stadium.
This was confirmed by Habib Grach, president of the Legal Commission within the steering committee of the Olympique de Béja.
The o. Béja and the African club were to compete on Wednesday in a match counting for the 8th day of the play-off. But this meeting did not arrive in the long term and was arrested after 17 minutes of play by referee Yousri Bouali following the physical assault of the club coach, victim of a projectile jet and seriously injured in the head.
Said Saibi was then transferred to the Béja regional hospital, where first aid was provided to him. He was then transferred to the trauma center and Ben Arous burn in to carry out medical examinations.
A supporter accused of having thrown a stone which hit the head of the club coach had been arrested following the deposition of several witnesses.
Following these events, the Office of the National League for Professional Football (LNFP), gathered the next day decided to grant victory over the green carpet to the African club (2-0).
