On the occasion of the inauguration of a gallery at the French Institute in Tunisia, a tribute will be paid to the Tunisian painter Jellal Ben Abdallah, from May 22 to June 13.
Will be exhibited in the painter’s gallery, retracing 80 years of creation, some have rarely or even ever shown to the public.
These works, which will soon be presented to the public, have become acquisitions of the Tunisian state and private collections.
Born in 1929 and residing in Sidi Bou Saïd, Jellal Ben Abdallah, self -taught and former student of the Lycée Carnot, is one of the founders of the Tunis school.
