Polish cinema days from June 2 to 7 at the Ibn Rachik culture house

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tunis is organizing in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Safeguarding the Tunisian Heritage The Days of Polish cinema from June 2 to 7 at the Maison de Culture Ibn Rachik.

Five films are scheduled during these days, namely:
Tuesday June 2 (6.30 pm): “Ida” directed by Pawel Pawlikowski (1h22min)
(quote_box_center) Synopsis: in Poland in the 1960s, before pronouncing her wishes, Anna, a young orphan raised to the convent, goes to meet her aunt, the only member of her family still alive. She then discovers a dark family secret dating from the Nazi occupation. (/Quote_box_center)

Wednesday June 3 (6:30 pm): “Les Dieux” directed by Lukasz Palkowski (1h55min)

Thursday June 4 (6.30 pm): “Our curse” directed by Tomasz śliwiński (27min)
(quote_box_center) Synopsis: the story of the director śliwiński who, with his wife, must face their son’s illness. Leo has Ondine syndrome, a rare disease without remedy. Thursday June 4 (7:00 pm): “Joanna” directed by Aneta Kopacz (45min)

The day of June 7 will be reserved for “Polish fables and tales” with the projection of 5 episodes of a Polish animated series produced in the years 2002-2005:

“The mountain of ice”
“The princess transformed into a frog”
“Winter fairies”
“The apple apple”
“The liar goat”
