The Israeli security firm validated Thursday evening, then formalized on Friday, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu’s plan aimed at the total military occupation of Gaza-Ville. This decision implies the forced displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians already hungry, towards precarious camps from the center of the Gaza Strip.
Presented as a “necessary step” to defeat Hamas, this operation is part of a larger strategy of ethnic cleaning and systematic destruction of Palestinian society. For months, Israel has led a war that has no longer distinguished military targets and civilian population, thus violating international humanitarian law.
A record that reflects an extermination policy
Since October 7, 2023, more than 62,600 Palestinians were killed, according to official data. Independent estimates evoke more than 80,000 dead If we include the missing under the rubble. Children represent an overwhelming part of the victims, and the famine – a direct consequence of the Israeli blockade – has already cost the lives of nearly 200 people.
Civil infrastructure is methodically destroyed: hospitals, schools, water and electricity networks. Humanitarian organizations speak of a fabric serving as a weapon of war, and the most serious humanitarian disaster of this century.
The “Five Conditions”: a colonial manifesto
To put an end to the conflict, the Israeli government imposes five conditions: complete disarmament of Hamas, release of hostages, demilitarization of Gaza, permanent security control by Israel, and creation of an “alternative” administration excluding both Hamas and the Palestinian authority.
This plan is nothing more than the roadmap for a long -term colonial occupationwithout a political horizon for the Palestinians and with the implicit objective of breaking any possibility of self -determination.
Strong criticism in Israel and abroad
Even in Tel Aviv, the dispute rises. Yair Lapid, head of the opposition, denounces “a disaster that will generate others”, accusing Netanyahu of yielding to the extremists of his government.
Abroad, convictions are unequivocal. Palestinian officials describe the decision to “war crime“And”genocide”. Australian diplomacy warns that this path” will only increase the humanitarian disaster “and recalls that the only viable solution remains the coexistence of two states.
Military analysts recall that the past occupation of Gaza (1967-2005) had already failed, confronting Israel with constant resistance. The current strategy risks creating an infinite cycle of violence, fueled by generations of Palestinians deprived of land, rights and future.
