The city of Hammamet will host its very first medina festival this evening. The festival will be held from June 11 to 24, 2016 and the evenings will take place in several spaces, including the Hammamet fort which will house the major shows.
Like the famous Médina de Tunis festival, this event will aim to animate Ramadanesque evenings and enrich the cultural and tourist scene in the region during this month, according to the director of the Donia Rezgui festival.
The opening evening will take place this evening, and will be hosted by the female music troupe “El Olfa” with their concert “Samaa El Achiquin”. Entrance is free for all evenings except that of Tuesday June 14 (Hadhret Rejel Tounes ”by Taoufik Doghmen), whose entrance is only by invitation.

Monday, June 13: children’s show (opposite the municipal palace)

Wednesday June 15: play ‘Hajess’
Thursday June 16: magic show with Achraf Ben Aicha (opposite the municipal palace)
Friday June 17: Documentary Hammamet de Ali Hassouna (Sidi Abdallah)
Saturday June 18: troop of Ras Djebel (Fort de Hammamet)
Sunday, June 19: documentary film of the Hammamet Cinema Club
Monday June 20: Hadhret al Azzouzia guided by the Awled Ben Azouz troop (Hammamet)
Tuesday June 21: Soulamia dar Chaâbane El Fehri (downtown Hammamet)
Wednesday June 22: AMWALI LEBLED show (Sidi Abdallah)
Thursday, June 23: Abid de Musique club (opposite the city’s municipal palace)
