It is with great effort and determination that our champion Ons Jabeur succeeded in going to the semi-finals of the Wimbledon tournament by beating, on the central court, the Kazakhe Elena Rybakina by the score of 2 to 1 (6-7, 6-4 and 6-1).
The first game was strongly disputed, the two players being at the shoulder-to-comic to 6-6, each of the two players taking advantage of his service to win his game, after Ons Jabeur obtained the advantage of winning this game by ahead of his opponent 6-5, to finally go to the tie-break which was won by E. Rybakina on the 7-6 score.
Like the first game, the second was also disputed, but it was Jabeur who took the advantage winning him on the score of 6-4.
And it is an excellent ONS, like the best tennis champions, which won the third game on the 6-1 wide score, in a match that lasted 1h54 mins, offering an indescribable joy to all the Tunisians who followed it.
It should be recalled that the two players met last year in this same tournament in the final, won by Rybakina. A beautiful revenge promised and obtained by Ons Jabeur.
The other semi-final which was played at the same time on the short 1 saw the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka easily prevailing in front of the American Madison Keys by 2 sets at 0 (6-2, 6-4), in only an hour of play.
