The Geo Barents, a humanitarian ship of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), rescued Tuesday April 4, 440 migrants in distress aboard a boat in international waters off the coast of Malta.
“After more than 11 hours of operation, the rescue is now finished and a total of 440 people, including eight women and 30 children, were rescued after a rescue operation which lasted more than 11 hours, reported MSF SEA.
