For the second consecutive year, the Tunisian tenniswomen Ons Jabeur lost, this Saturday, July 15, 2023, its final at the Wimbledon tournament.
OnS bowed to Marketa Vondrousova in two sets (6-4.6-4). However, our champion started her match well, but has mueliplined direct faults, leaving her hand to her opponent who was able to benefit mainly from the mental state of the Tunisian.
Ons Jabeur was however favorite of this final long awaited by the Tunisian supporters who dreamed of seeing their champion winning a great slam.
Ons Jabeur (6th in the world) and Marketa Vondrousova (42nd) had the merit of climbing to the Wimbledon final after eliminating many favorites.
Ons Jabeur delivered great performances and managed during the six matches played to eliminate four players, each with at least one Grand Colem title in his record.
