The diocesan library of Tunis welcomes this Thursday, November 10 at 9:30 am our colleague Hatem Bourial who will present his book “Helsinki Jazz”, travel diaries in Finland.
Entitled “A Mediterranean in Baltic”, this meeting will allow you to travel between two seas which are also two very old crossroads and find at the same time as the echoes of the past the accents of modernity.
From the beating heart of Carthage to the multiple soul of Helsinki, Hatem Bourial walks a city, symbolically reconstructs it and invites us to admire the sacred architecture and the Nordic charm of the Finnish capital.
This meeting is part of the “Tranversal” cycle organized by the Library of the Diocese of Tunis.
In addition, Hatem Bourial will go to Finland at the end of November to present his book there and participate in a conference on the life and work of Joel Lehtonen, a Finnish writer who visited Tunisia in 1914.
