JCC 2016 – A ceremony for the awards ceremony for parallel sections was held on Friday at the Palais des Congrès. The jury announced the following list:
• Prix Tunisian Foundation Woman And FTFM Memory, Hayde Tamzali Prize: Best female interpretation Anissa Daoued in Tunisia for her role in the film Tomorrow from dawn from Lotfi Achour.
• Prize of the African Federation of Cinematographic Criticism, FACC, Prix Nejiba Hamrouni: Best feature film for the film Eshtebek (Clash) by Mohamed Dhiab from Egypt.
• Network of Arab Alternative Screens Nass
1- Price mention of the jury: Beach House from Roy Dhib of Lebanon.
2- Best short film: Neyrkouk by Mohamed Kordafi of Sudan.
3- Best feature film: The Last of Us From Alaeddine Selim from Tunisia.
• Prize of the International Federation of Fipresci Cinematographic Press: Best feature film Divine from Houda Benyamina from Morocco
