Popular singer Hédi Tounsi died on the evening of Thursday, December 1 after a long fight against the disease at Charles Nicole hospital in Tunis. He had suffered from the heart and had been hospitalized for weeks.
If Hédi Tounsi has left us it does not mean that these songs will be forgotten. The child of Bab Jedid who supported the Tunisian stadium has a repertoire that all Tunisians know.
From “Sawer Sawer” to “Ana Habbaytou” or Nsallou Alih via “Lillet Sebbet”, Hédi Tounsi is part of the heritage of Tunisian song.
