It was at the University of Leiden that Rached Hamzaoui continued part of his studies before supporting a state thesis at the Sorbonne.

And it is as part of the exhibition of Arab manuscripts at the University of Leiden that a tribute will be paid to him at Club Tahar Haddad Tuesday December 20 at 3 p.m.

Primary intellectual, renowned writer and academician recognized internationally, Rached Hamzaoui is the author of many literary works like “Boudouda is dead” or “Tarnano”. His long career at the Tunisian University led him to occupy various responsibilities.

Hamzaoui will therefore be the guest of Club Tahar Haddad and the Embassy of the Netherlands Tuesday, December 20 for a tribute of the most deserved for one of the pioneers of Tunisian literature and lexicological science.

As a prelude to this tribute, Safa Araar will give a recital to Qanoun.
