Mohamed Amine Jhinaoui, specialist in the 3000m Steeple has the means to climb the highest step of the podium during the world athletics championships which are currently taking place in Budapest in Hungary.
He competes tomorrow, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, the final of the 3000m Steeple and has the means to become the first Tunisian world champion in the discipline.
Amine Jhinaoui made a place in the final, after finishing in third place in the second round, disputed on Saturday with a time of 24.08.20. First place went to the American Kenneth Rocks.
Another Tunisian runner, Ahmed Jaziri, was less likely since his journey ended in the first round.
