Paris, like other cities in France, have been plagued in recent days of acts of violence after death Tuesday in Nanterre de Nahel, a young person killed by the police during a check.

The French Interior Ministry said that 45,000 police and gendarmes are mobilized for the night from Friday to Saturday, in addition to the deployment of armored vehicles from the gendarmerie.

A young man died Friday afternoon after falling from the roof of a store in Petit-Quevilly (Seine-Maritime) on the night of Thursday to Friday, on the sidelines of riots following the death of Nahel, reports French media.

A total of 875 people were arrested on the night of Thursday to Friday, 492 buildings were targeted, 2,000 vehicles were burned and dozens of looted stores. 249 police and gendarmes were injured.
