At the Fridays of Dar Sebastian: feminism, Flaubert and Liberté

On Fridays from Dar Sebastian, newly established at the International Hammamet Cultural Center, gradually reach their cruising speed.

Born from a partnership between MoEz Mrabet, director of the CCIH, and two associations which are the Ibn Rochd circle and the CAP Bon section of the Democratic Association of the French from abroad (ADFE), these meetings will continue in February with a most motivating calendar.

After having received Jalila Baccar, Fridays are preparing to give the floor to Najet Abdelkader Fakhfakh who will set a story of the Tunisian woman from her work “Liberty in inheritance”. This meeting will take place on Friday, February 10 at 4 p.m.

Then, a session will be placed under the sign of literature and “Flaubert in Tunisia”. It will allow us to find the traces of Gustave Flaubert staying in Tunisia in the middle of the nineteenth century, in search of the ancient Carthage. This meeting with Hatem Bourial will take place on February 17 at 4 p.m.

The last meeting of this February will be devoted to the theme “Knowledge, Intelligence and Liberty” and will be lectured by Professor Hamadi Ben Jaballah. This meeting will take place on February 24 at 4 p.m.

With open and high -level debates, the Fridays of Dar Sebastian invest several themes and are placed in an interdisciplinary perspective while having the plan to give pride of place to intellectuals and civil society.

Beginning under the sign of feminism with Jalila Baccar and Najet Abdelkader Fakhfakh, this February will continue by declining literature and philosophy. To the delight of the very international public of the CCIH.
