The High Consultative Committee of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) has decided to grant the Tunisian Star Actress Hend Sabry The price of excellence Faten Hamama. This prize is awarded each year to the initiative of the family of Faten Hamama to a personality of the show which contributes to the promotion and upgrading of cinematographic art.
This award will be awarded to him during the opening ceremony of the 39th edition of the CIFF which will take place from November 21 to 30, 2017, in tribute to his rich cinematographic journey of quality roles and films. Some of these films will also be programmed during this edition of the CIFF.
This reward is a recognition of the talent of Hend Sabry who began his career at the age of 14 in the Tunisian film The Silences of the Palace from Moufida Tlatli and for which she received the Best Interpretation Prize during the 1994 JCC.
