Trade between China and Africa recorded growth of 7.4%, during the first seven months of 2023, compared to the same period of 2022, according to figures published by the General Administration of Chinese customs, and relayed by the Ecofin agency.
Exchanges that reached $ 156.4 billion in 2023. Besides, since the start of the year, exports from the Empire in the community to African countries have increased by 20 %, compared to the same period of 2022, to establish itself at around $ 97.8 billion.
At the same time, Chinese imports from Africa reached 58.6 billion dollars during the first seven months of the current year, without providing the variation compared to the same period of the past year.
Most Chinese exports to Africa are finished products (textile-habilion, machines, electronics, etc.), while African exports to the Empire in the environment are dominated by raw materials such as crude oil, copper, cobalt and iron ore.
