The earthquake which devastated Morocco sees its sad record now reaching 2,000 victims, according to the latest count of the death published by the Moroccan authorities.
This assessment is likely to worsen over research.
The province of Al-Haouz, where the epicenter of the earthquake was located, is the most indebted with 1293 dead, followed by the province of Taroudant with 452 dead.
It should be recalled that this earthquake on Saturday, of magnitude 7 according to the Moroccan center for scientific and technical research, is the most powerful to have ever been measured in Morocco.
