It is Passalacqua, located in Moltrasio, on the shore of Lake Como, Italy, which is on the first step of the podium on the list of CNN Travel, “The World’s 50 Best Hotels”.

The traditional ranking of the best hotels in the world, developed by CNN, was unveiled Tuesday, September 19 in London.

In this ranking, there are 21 European hotels, 3 Africans including 2 Moroccan establishments (La Mamounia 6th and Royal Mansour 23rd). Both are located in Marrakech.

The rest of the establishments are located on American, Asian and Australia continents.

The 50 best hotels in the world are in 35 destinations around the world. No trace, unfortunately, Tunisian hotels in this ranking.

A jury of 580 experts from the hotel industry, of which hoteliers and journalists from around the world have produced this ranking, a highly anticipated event which offers establishments appointed global recognition in the hotel industry, as well as an important media influence.
