The members of the Bureau of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF), in a statement made public Thursday, expressed their “total support” to the president of the Tunisian football body, Wadie Jary, the subject of a deposit warrant issued against him rather in the afternoon.
The Federal Office will work within the framework of what is enabled by law in force to defend Jary and to prove innocence in the face of the accusations to which it is subject (contract established not in accordance with regulatory methods), can be read in the same press release.
The office explains that the contract subject to the complaint filed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport to the Public Prosecutor’s Office is a contract agreed between the FTF and the former Sghaier Zouita Technical Director, and had been established according to the same terms and arrangements compared for twenty years in the development of contracts with the previous technical directors and approved by the MJS since December 2020.
As a reminder, the official spokesperson for the said court, Mohamed Zitouna had indicated this Thurs on Thursday that the investigating judge at the Tunis court of first instance had issued a warrant against the president of the FTF, Wadie Jary.
The spokesman explained that the investigation into the case involving Jary is still underway, and had refrained from revealing more details on his circumstances.
Wadie Jary had, it was said, was arrested on Wednesday evening, under an arrest warrant issued against him, against the backdrop of complaint filed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
