A knife attack took place in a high school in Arras, in the north of France this Friday, October 13, 2023. A teacher was killed. Several injured are to be deplored, two of which are in a very serious condition.
According to the first elements reported by the French media, a man entered a school in the city of Pas-de-Calais, before attacking several people.
Armed with a knife he attacked several people. One dead and two seriously injured are identified. The person killed is a teacher of the establishment.
The assailant was arrested by the police. It is of Chechen and fell into radicalization according to police sources. He was arrested on the spot, as well as his brother.
AFP reports that the author of the knife attack shouted “Allah Akbar”.
