The new edition of the Tunis Carthage Comar Marathon will take place on Sunday, December 3, as announced in the morning of today Friday, November 17, 2023 during a press conference held by the organizers, presenting the main lines of this annual sports meeting.
This marathon, which will be held around Lake Tunis and on Mohamed V avenue, will have three routes as usual, the first of 5 km, the second of 21.1 km and the third of 42.195 km. This in addition to a mini circuit for Kids.
For the first, he will start from the Place de la Révolution, at the clock of Avenue Habib Bourguiba, on a circuit that will bypass the Park of Hope. The second will start from the same place to browse the TGM track to the La Goulette-Radès bridge in round trip.
The course of “professionals”, out of 42.195 kms will start from the same place to bypass Lake Tunis from the North, to the Marsa, the return being from the south, on the Tunis-La Goulette road.
In addition to its sporting objective, the Tunis-Carthage Comar marathon has other activities that reflect its social, cultural and environmental commitment.
Thus, in addition to its “marathon village”, a versatile exhibition to be held at Avenue Habib Bourguiba from December 1 to 3, it is particularly the environmental component which will draw attention with the reforestation of burned forests whose medium -term objective is “zero carbon footprint”.
It should be noted that registrations will be launched from November 20 to be closed on December 1, on the site www.marathon.comar.tn, at the Comar headquarters and the Décathlon stores in Tunis and its suburbs, and the Mall of Sousse.
