At least 500 people were killed in an Israeli strike which reached the enclosure of a hospital in the city of Gaza.
According to the Hamas Ministry of Health, the victims’ assessment increased to at least 500 people killed in a bombardment that affected the enclosure of Ahli Arab hospital, located in the city center.
The Hamas media office denounced “a new occupation war crime (Israel, editor’s note)” and indicated that “hundreds of patients, wounded and displaced” were in the establishment.
In total, some 3000 people were killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, according to an updated assessment released Tuesday by the Hamas Ministry of Health. These raids also made more than 12,500 injured.
On the Israeli side, the record rises to more than 1,400 dead, including 286 soldiers. The Israeli army also said 200 people had been captured by Hamas during the October 7 attack. For its part, Hamas claims to have “between 200 and 250 Israeli hostages”.
