Arrested on October 26 for suspicions of financial corruption and being the subject of two deposit warrants, the president of the FTF is due to appear this Thursday, December 7, 2023, before the first investigating judge at office 35 of the Tunis court of first instance.
The president of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF), Wadii Jary, must appear, today before the investigating judge of the Tunis Court of First Instance to be questioned within the framework of the investigation relating to suspicions related to the embezzlement.
Wadii Jary is the subject of two deposit mandates. The first was issued against him on October 26, 2023 against the backdrop of corruption suspicions concerning the signing of a contract between the FTF and a former technical director.
Affaire for which Wadii Jary had been auditioned for the first time in El Gorjani on August 30, 2023 and had been maintained in a state of freedom, at that time.
Today, the president of the FTF must be asked about accusations relating to a “embezzlement of public funds made available to him, in relation to characteristics of his post”.
The investigating judge issued a warrant for deposit against Wadi Jary, on November 28, as part of this case, while postponing his interrogation to today.
The case is related to a complaint filed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports against the President of the FTF, about the funds of the African Football Confederation.
