The Biden administration recently sent a navy general and several other American military officers in Israel to help advise the leaders of the Israeli army in its operation in Gaza, reports Axios.
According to the same source, among the officers of the body of the navies sent is the lieutenant-general James Glynn. He previously directed the special marine operations and participated in operations against Daesh in Iraq.
This decision reflects the deep involvement of the American administration in the war in Gaza and in the military planning of Israel.
“We have asked several officials with relevant experience, simply to help Israeli officials think about the difficult questions to come and explore their options. The Israeli army will make its own decisions as always, “a spokesperson for the Pentagon told Axios.
