The investigating judge at the Casablanca Court of Appeal ordered the detention of the president of the Wydad of Casablanca, Saïd Naciri, and the President of the Council of the Oriental Region, Abdenbi Bioui, this Friday, December 22, 2023.
The president of WAC, Said Naciri, faces several counts, in particular “falsification of official documents, possession and distribution of drugs and the use of counterfeit checks, according to the declarations of his lawyer.
As part of the same case, the investigating judge ordered the detention of Abdenbi Bioui’s brother (Abderrahim Bioui), president of the Oriental commune, two police commissioners, two gendarmes, a notary, a stylist, a businessman, a civil servant and a worker abroad.
The investigation was launched after statements made by a Malian national, already sentenced to Morocco to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking, involving the WAC boss in these criminal activities.
