The director, scriptwriter and editor Moufida Tlatli (August 4, 1947-07 February 2021) has just left us.
His name will forever be linked to a cult film from Tunisian cinema: The Silences of the Palace (1994), Tanit d’Or from the Carthage Cinematographic Days (JCC) 1994, and prize for the best actress for the very young Hend Sabry, of which it was the first role.
May all powerful God bless her and welcome him in his eternal paradise.
