“The extension of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is now inevitable,” Iranian Iranian Iranian Minister for Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Friday 10 November 2023.
“Due to the growing intensity of the war on civilian inhabitants of Gaza, the expansion of the field of war has now become inevitable,” the minister said to his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed Ben Abdelrahmane Al-Thani, according to the website of the ministry.
Téhéran has supported, since the start of the war, Hamas, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Houthi rebels of Yemen, which announced that it had launched several missiles towards Israeli territory.
Washington also accuses Tehran of being involved in proxy in attacks by the military bases of the anti-Jihadist coalition led by the United States in Iraq and Syria, reports AFP.
