The first minutes of the film, we watch and ask ourselves questions. We understand that this is a parody of zombie films, but still! The actors seem bad, the script badly written, the too big special effects, the too forced make -up, the garish colors, absurd aftershocks, others that are noticed endlessly … In short, it’s a very bad film. We are starting to ask questions: then? Where is the “thing”? No, the Cannes Film Festival cannot have chosen such a turnip at the opening! There is surely an explanation, but which one? Little by little, we start to understand and we laugh with a good heart. And above all we realize that this film is a tribute to all those who make films, to all those who are on a set of shooting, to all those who give themselves entirely to make a film, which are exhausted to do it, even if they know in advance that it will not be beautiful. But they do it. For cinema. For the love of cinema, this job they have chosen.
