A trophy long thought out before being definitively chosen.
All these awarded films have distinguished themselves by a relevant subject and related to an often dramatic social situation, like Quo Vadis Aïda Who reminds us of the sad and very touching drama of Bosnia during the wild assault of Serbia against Muslims in this country. Or Radiography of A Family From Iranian Firiuzeh Khosrovani which relates a certain past of Iran under the chah and another present under the diet of the mullahs. As well as Intranquilles Belgian Joachim Lafosse who transcribes family relationships in various aspects and in different situations.
The award -winning short film Criminalsfrom Turkish Serhat Karaaslan, no longer escapes him from this interest in social relations in general.
And it is the same for the films that have obtained special mentions.
But it should be recalled that before deciding on these great cinematographic achievements, all deserving, as the juries pointed out, several activities marked these days of 7th Art, such as the Master Class, round tables or the sessions of “heritage cinema” or “memory”.
