“We also confirm the release of thirty-nine women and children detained in Israeli prisons, in application of the commitments of the first day of the agreement,” added Mr. Al-Ansari on the social network X.

Among the 39 Palestinian prisoners released, 28 of them were deposited in the West Bank, while 11 others were taken to the occupied East Al Quds.

The agreement concluded on Wednesday provides in total the exchange of 50 women and children held by Hamas for 150 Palestinian prisoners, as well as a lull of fighting for four days.

The agreement found also provides the routing of 130 thousand liters of fuel each day and the daily entry of 200 trucks of humanitarian aid in the Palestinian enclave.
