In 4 days will start the 33rd session of the Carthage Cinematographic Days (JCC) and which will take place from October 29 to November 6, 2022.
This year, programming will include very diverse, recent and old films, and some of which have won prizes in prestigious festivals. We can cite for example the Tunisian film Under the figs of Erige Sehiriwho had made his first at the Cannes Film Festival and which is The film selected by Tunisia to represent it at the Oscar for the best international film 2023, or the film Eo Directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, who was in Official selection of the Cannes Film Festival and won the Jury Ex-E Equo award.
Among the old films, we can also cite the very beautiful film The citizen and the indication and the thiefproduced by Daoud Abdel Sayed, who is one of the filmmakers who will be honored by this 33rd edition of the JCC. Hoping that the projected version will be not censored, because the version that has been broadcast for a few years on the various Arab TV channels has been amputated with a large number of scenes. This film made in 2001 is topical today. It should be noted that Hend Sabry plays one of his first roles in Egypt there and had the Egyptian spectators at the time by the way she had perfectly embodied an Egyptian in disadvantaged districts.
