Elton John will be the headliner of the Glastonbury Festival next June for a “ultimate” concert in the United Kingdom before completing his farewell tour, the organization of the famous British musical meeting announced on Friday.
This is the first time that the famous Popstar, 75, will participate, underlined on Twitter Emily Eavis, organizer and daughter of the founder of the festival, which normally takes place every year in the southwest of England.
Elton John began his farewell farewell yellow brick road tour from September 2018 before being forced to put the pandemic of Covid-19. During his recovery, the British artist then took place in Paris in June 2022.
On November 20, Elton John put an end to his series of concerts in the United States with a final show at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles who attended Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, among others.
After his visit to Glastonbury, the British megastar with the countless tubes will then end her farewell tour which will again pass through Paris for four dates, from June 21 to 28, 2023.
