The 23rd edition of the theatrical days of Carthage ended, last night, at the Cité de la Culture de Tunis.

• Prix du Théâtre de l’Opéra for the best scenography: Mostapha El Alaoui and Mohamed El Horr for “Les Jardins des Secrets” (Morocco)
• Dramaturgy prices: Abdelhalim Messaoudi and Nizar Saidi for “Dark Side” (Tunisia)
• Prize for male interpretation: Ghassen Achkar for his role in “Terrestrial Mine” by George Ibrahim (Palestine)
• Prize for female interpretation: Jalila Tlemsi for her role in “Les Jardins des Secrets” (Morocco)
• Price of staging: Mohamed El Horr for “Les Jardins des Secrets” (Morocco)
• Price for the best work: “Les Jardins des Secrets” by Mohamed El Horr (Morocco)

• Liberty Prize for the best creation of a theater club for penitentiary and rehabilitation establishments:
1. 1st prize: Prison Borj Amri with the play “Tkhalbiza” Scene Hassen Ayachi and Mohamed Ali Jaouadi
2. 2nd Prize: Messaadine prison with the play “Besslama” / Framed by Nejib Zguem / Text Abdelkader Mansour
3. 3rd prize: exæquo between Mahdia prison with the play “Hedha Bakhti” / Text and collective scene and the prison of women of Manouba with the play “xy” / staging Amal Bejaoui
• Prix Salah El Kessab for creation: Taoufik Jebali (Tunisia) / Jabbar Joudi (Iraq) / Mohamed Mediouni (Tunisia)
• Farhat Hached price for the best technical service awarded by the UGTT: Mohamed Nouir for “the exile” of Nader Belaid (Tunisia)
• Néjiba Hamrouni prize for freedom of expression awarded by the National Union of Tunisian journalists: “more resistance” by Imed El May (Tunisia), with a special mention to “Mercury” by AWS Brahim (Tunisia)
