An Israeli strike targeting the South Lebanese killed a Lebanese soldier, the first from the start on October 8, almost daily exchanges on the border between Israel and Hezbollah.
Several other injured have been reported in these unpublished strikes since the start of the conflict, while the international community warns against the conflagration of war.
France quickly reacted to these strikes and expressed its “great concern by continuing clashes on the border between Lebanon and Israel”.
The spokesperson for the Quai d’Orsay called in a press release “all parties” to “the greatest restraint”. The Israeli army claims to have not targeted the Lebanese armed forces, but a position of the Lebanese armed movement Hezbollah.
