The Cité de la Culture has welcomed since the beginning of the month, a large exhibition devoted to the work of Hedi Khayachi and his son Noureddine Khayachi.
Initially, this exhibition was to end in March. However, faced with the crowds of the public and the historical importance of the works on display, the managers of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art decided to extend the event until June 30.
The Khayachi exhibition proposes to discover the works of two pioneers of Tunisian painting of the twentieth century. A hundred paintings belonging to the collections of the State and the Khayachi family are exhibited while an art book devoted to the two artists has just been published by Tej El Molk Khayachi Ghorbel.
