An Italian archaeological mission should continue in Carthage from April 24 to May 13, with the main site of the famous rotunda which is near the Imam Malek mosque.
This ancient site is a Christian culture also called “circular monument”. A first campaign had taken place in 2022 to identify this site and the work of the next phases should continue until October.
This Italian archaeological mission is placed under the supervision of the National Heritage Institute.
