According to the latest assessment, a person was killed in the explosion, while 26 others were injured, including six in serious condition.
The facts occurred in Keretsky, in the west of Ukraine. An elected official launched this Friday, December 15, grenades during a meeting of a municipal council.
This meeting was broadcast live on Facebook when the incident took place, which explains why the video and images of the explosion quickly shared on social networks.
In the video, we see the suspect, a member of the party “servants of the people”, entering a small room where several people are already located. After a short conversation visibly stormy, he leaves his pockets and launches grenades on the ground. Several strong explosions follow and panic cries, before the video was cut.
A person died, while 26 others were injured, including the author of the facts. No reason was mentioned at this stage by the Ukrainian authorities.
