The Egyptian national electoral authority announced on Monday, December 18, 2023, that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi had won a third term after winning 89.6% of the vote.
Al-Sissi will thus start a new six-year term after being elected for the first time in 2014 and then re-elected in 2018.
