Ooredoo Night Run 2024 in Tunis: sports and solidarity success

On March 29, 2024, Avenue Habib Bourguiba in Tunis illuminated to welcome the third edition of the Ooredoo Night Run, supported by Xiaom

This exceptional evening brought together an impressive number of participants, under the supervision of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Kamel Deguiche, and the CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, Mr. Mansoor Rachid al-Khater. This initiative has aroused considerable enthusiasm for this unmissable event.

Mr. Kamel Deguiche encouraged this initiative, stressing the importance of detaching himself from screens to move his body. According to him, “it is vital to practice sport, not only for pleasure and leisure, but also to fight against the threats to the health of Tunisians, such as diabetes and hypertension. »»

More than 4,000 runners, including 500 children, participated in this symbolic race, traveling from distances ranging from 2 km to 10 km in a spirit of competition and solidarity. This initiative has also taken on a philanthropic dimension, with the commitment to donate all of the revenues to the Diar Al Amal association, which supports the most vulnerable children in society.

Mr. Mansoor Rachid al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, expressed his pride as to the impact of this event, which has become an unmissable event for a dynamic and united Tunisia. For his part, Sylvester Huang, sales director at Xiaomi Tunisia, praised this fruitful collaboration, stressing the importance of this event to promote the unity and vitality of Tunisia.

The evening ended with a award ceremony which highlighted 72 winners, professionals and amateurs, as well as 6 children, symbols of a promising future for Tunisian youth. This event therefore not only promoted sport and solidarity, but also to support an important cause for the future of Tunisian society.
