A high adviser to the Iranian revolution guards was killed this Monday, December 25, 2023 in an Israeli strike in Syria.
According to official Iranian media, this strike took place near Damascus, the Syrian capital. Sources have told the Reuters agency that the advisor, known as Sayyed Razi Mousavi, was responsible for coordinating the military alliance between Syria and Iran.
Commenting on this assassination, the Iranian revolution guards promised that Israel would pay for the murder of Moussavi.
“There is no doubt that the usurper and wild Zionist regime will pay for this crime,” the guards said in a statement read on state television.
