It is on Saturday April 29 that the artist Zied Lasram is making his comeback at the Kalyste gallery, with a new collection whose title is “Callist”.
The common thread of this exhibition is none other than the Callist, a colorful bird. In this sense, the new work of Zied Lasram, unlike his rather monochrome older works, has taken bright and happy colors.
It is in his artist workshop in Djerba that Zied Lasram created this new exhibition which, moreover, continues a previous reflection initiated with “Kairos”, title of his last collection shown to the public.
Indeed, Kairos is also a symbolic bird of the destiny of each. Mythical animal, the one who would grab it would catch their destiny on the fly.
With “Calliste”, Lasram opens a new page in his artistic career while confirming his loyalty to the Kalyste gallery that Synda Ben Khelil happily animates.
