After seizing the International Court of Justice (CIJ) against Israel, South Africa is preparing a new procedure against the United States and the United Kingdom for complicity in war crimes in Gaza.
About fifty South African lawyers are preparing a new procedure against American and British governments, which they accuse of being accomplices of war crimes committed by Zionists in Palestine.
The initiative, led by South African lawyer Wikus Van Rensburg, aims to continue the accomplices of these crimes before civil courts, in collaboration with American and British law firms, with which he is already in contact.
“The United States must now answer for the crimes they have committed,” said Wikus Van Rensburg. If the appeal against Israel before the CIJ ends in favor of South Africa, Wikus Van Rensburg believes that the United States could be the subject of sanctions, even if it does not accept the verdict.
He adds that the CIJ’s decision will also strengthen the file against the administration of Joe Biden.
As a reminder, South Africa officially accused Israel before the CIJ through a request filed on Friday December 29, 2023 in which it denounces the Zionist entity to engage in “acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza”. Thursday, January 11, 2024, Israel faced the CIJ before these accusations.
The court thus declared that this trial requires the immediate cessation of the military operations of the Zionist entity, in the Gaza Strip.
